REQ: Steel 'Tree Style' Targets - TIA

Hey all,
I bought a cheapie @ 'Dicks' for my XD(M) and it serves the purpose.

I would LOVE to get a spinner/resetting steel target for the AR style platform. I'm tired of shooting at 12"12"X1/2"Plate.

I have browsed some online catalogs as well as print ones, and some of the articles aren't so favorable (Fall over upon hit, cheap construction...etc; you get the idea...ahhh LaRue AIN'T an option!!!)

There is a cabelas about 60 miles away, and that woluldn't be a bad afternoon drive, but I would like to hear FIRST from SHOOTERS which they've had both BAD & GOOD luck with.

I'm an unployed stiff right now, so anything under $100 would really be ideal.

Looking to shoot in the 150-250 yard range. (PMC Brass)

Thanx for any links or thougts ahead of time!

-Steve

The club I belong to took all the steel spinners (made by a member) off the range after a ladies car window was shot out,I have been hit twice with ricochets at the pistol range, glad I had some heavy clothing on at the time, but boy did that sting like heck.

Yeah, when they say "for soft nose bullets only", they mean it. We had a do-all dueling post that was supposed to be OK for 223 out at the range one day and FMJ zipped right through them at 100 yards, even through the frame. Make sure you're shooting soft points or poly tipped or something.

I have read reviews about the one pictured in Cabelas (from Bang3560). The downsize was that it as not stable with the four legs.

I'm looking at Natchezss right now, and I'm looking at PG.71, Item DOVH2225 (9MM - 30-06) @ $64.86.

I have a cheapie (Similar) to another below the previous for my XD(M) .40 whaich works well (As a note a .223 will practically penetrate the MATL).

I like the stand up style/legs of the ones I listed as they well support the targets, and aren't flimsy at all (.125 THK Al bar stock), which can be pegged down to the earth).

It will prob take a trip to Cabelas or Gander MTN so I can take a first hand look.
