We have an 11 month old girl, so I def agree a safe is a must, in fact I offered to get the safe, just pushes back my EGR. /sadpanda

I have an RRA CAR A4 and absolutely love it. I have over 2000 rounds through mine, with various ammo, without a single hiccup. And I am definitely not anal about cleaning. If Rock Rivers are good enough for the DEA, then they're good enough for me.

You might want to look at CMMG or some other brands that have mil spec quality, you can always consult "The Chart" But I saw some companies getting CMMG MP4LEs out the door for under 800.00 Or the SW ORC for right at 800 and you shold get a rebate for some Pmags with it. Just good option for a factory built rifle on a budjet.
