Previous to today, only shot 55gr. fmjbt through the recent build with 1/7, chrome-lined, fluted, YHM 16.5" barrel. Getting about 2" with 55s.
Loaded up some 69gr. Sierra Matchkings, pushed by 21.7gr. of 2200, Wolf primers, LC brass. Didn't do any really precision reloading, just dropped the charges, using the Hornady measure attached to my Dillon 650.
Shot a couple of 1/2" groups, shooting my first build, 18", RRA bull varmint barrel. Loaded up the M4 and fired three shots. Here's the reason we should always shoot five-shot groups. I don't know whether the first two shots that were touching represent where the group would be or if the "flyer" was just my jerking the trigger a little, or what. I do know that I fired the group @ the rate of about a shot every three seconds.
I'm really happy with the performance of the YHM barrel. Will load up some more 69s and shoot some five-shot groups next.
