Starting to show up around $2500 now. That might come down a little more.

In the 4th and 5th pics above the bar code and to the right is the serial, but the serial is also on that bar code with some other letters and numbers. It appears that the bar code is just for inventory. It looks like something I can peel off - I haven't tried yet.

Ideally 6.8, but 5.56 being the only real choice then. I already have a .308(M1 Socom II), and this time want something light weight, and properly SBR'd. Would seem best to properly stick to the AR, SBR ACR and SCAR would seem hard to come by for sometime.

If I ever move to a state without crappy laws I'd look very quickly into getting an ACR or a SCAR, and prolly a tax stamp for a suppressor. Sadly as long as NY finished up my address I'll be happy with the AR I'm trying to build, pinned stock and all. Anybody know if the SCAR is available in a fixed stock?

Took the SCAR to the range for the first time today. Put 500 rounds through it with zero failures. The SCAR feels great. The weight is comparable to my ARs, but it is balanced much different. I like the feel of the SCAR.
Prone position Wind was between 25 and 35 mph today Federal 55 grain (cheap stuff) The SCAR performed much better than I expected 100 yards Rapid Fire ![]() ![]() ![]() 200 yards 5 shot group ![]() ![]() 200 yards 5 shot group 2 ![]()

the sticker comes off. Standard thing on FNH products. Had one on my FSN and PS90.
Do the Scars still come in a craptacular plain cardboard box?

It did come in a cardboard box - craptacular might be a little too generous. I have grown to be a big fan of FN (4 FN products now) but no 5.7 stuff for me yet.
