yeah Im aware of their outstanding warranty. That's half the reason I bought it. But if they give me the same lens covers, what good does it do? Maybe they have an upgrade option available. I'll call and see.

I have one of these also. I will never buy another. The first one i got never worked. I bought 2 new batteries with no success. They sent me another and it worked fine the first trip to the range to zero. The next day I had family in town and a range trip planned and it came on and immediately the dot faded never to return. No battery could help it. They sent me another that I plan on selling. I plan on getting an aimpoint with my tax return. The optic is trash. I wouldn't trust this thing to work one day to the next.

Why the rolly eyes? Does a review have to be positive?

It isn't his fault he had a bad experience and wanted to be honest with you. If you just want everyone to tell you that every purchase you make will crap rainbows and sunshine then let us know ahead of time so we won't bother telling the truth.

As the OP I agree. I realize this isn't a Aimpont. I'm just looking to share my experience with my purchase. So far so good. It may very well crap out but equally it may last years. Open and honest discussion is a good thing.
