so ~$65-80 bucks worth of mags, depending on where you get them. Hardly a $100 value, of course they're talking list price.

Since a local vendor has the M&P15A for around 825...plus the mag deal...hmm...I might be able to swing this earlier than I thought and skip the higher priced guns.
For my needs, I think the M&P with a few tweaks might suit all my needs. Reviews and comments on all boards on the S&W ARs has been overall pretty positive.
825 bucks is still cheaper than 1100 or more for a Colt or BCM AR....that means I can get it sooner. Its tempting...especially with the mag deal.
