The UPS guy just made my day when he dropped off my new 13" Troy Industries TRX Extreme handgaurd (in FDE, obviously ).

Initial impressions are that it is light-weight and feels pretty small in my hands, especially compared to the four-rail tube it will be replacing. Hopefully I'll get the chance to put it on the upper this weekend so i can see how the install goes, and how solid the clamping mechanism is.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.

I wish my forearm would get here. It's the last piece in my build

I have the TRX Extreme forearm on my SBR build and it is extremely light and thin. the low pro gas block just barely fits under it. Too bad I haven't got my tax stamp yet and it is still sitting at my local AR builders shop (the whole upper).

I've got a Bison Armory 18" SPR on order, and probably use a DD lo-pro gas block.
