I bought this item after having a spent primer blown out of the casing of one of my reloads and jam up the front of my trigger group effectively making my rifle useless until the primer could be removed. I installed this item, but it didn't keep a second backed-out primer from jamming things up, this time jamming up the back end of the trigger group instead of the front end. So while it kept the jam from happening in one place, it didn't keep it from jamming altogether. It also increases trigger pull just a little due to spongyness of this item being compressed just a tad during the trigger pull. Not much; hardly noticeable, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Thanks for chiming in......

Did you have an answer to my question, or did you just want to point out that you have a life?

(Sarcasm off)

(PS) Real Thanx to chupacabrachus for the info.

My Brother in law found it while searching the net for AR parts.

I had never heard of one either, but he went ahead and ordered one for both of us....

...so now I'm torn on weather or not to install it when I put in my LPK.

I would be afraid of it falling apart and causing the problems it was made to prevent.

no offense, but who really honestly has enough spent primers that fowl their trigger that they should spend another 8.00 plus s/h on a product that obviously is not going to keep it from happening ever again?

I'd say, save the money, and buy another mag
