aAnyone use a FACOG ?
I really want an ACOG but the financual situation what it is right now will be a good long while before that happens anyways anyone use a fake ACOG or a replica thats decent ? or a sight simmular to an ACOG ? if so where did you get yours and can i get a link ? thanks

Would you be interested in going with a quality fixed 4 power optic instead?
Have you looked at something along the lines of a Millet MDS-1? You could pick one up for around $225 and it allows you to go down to 1X and use it much like an Aimpoint or up to 4X like an Acog

Ive looked at a couple redots I,m still learning about sights for the AR so I havent heard of that one yet the only ones I,ve saw besides some airsoft fakes is eotech fakes and a BARSKA acog copy and a copy made by bushnell that looked pretty good but even ast that price range thats a little tough to swallow im looking for something in the $100 or less range .

I have the barska 1x red dot fake acog... works well for me.
Stould up to a Saiga .410 recoil with no issues.
Stays zero'd, decent little scope.
Got it off Amazon for cheap.
I also have one of the gunbroker 4x Chinese knock offs.
It's not lit, and I have only used it on my GSG-5 but I like it a lot for a sub 100 optic.

I use a Aimpoint clone on my AR and it has worked great. The one I use is from Primary Arms For Optics Accessories & More : Home . they sell a combo with cant mount and a 5X magnifer for around 200. I have had it mounted for about a year with zero problems and still haven't changed the batteries yet.

I have heard good things about the dots from primary arms. that being said, I also looked at the Vortex Strikefire and almost bought it...but found a Bushnell Trophy MP for $144 shipped on amazon.
I have not used it yet other than playing...will shoot with it soon I hope.
