What they should of done was make a limited amount of DDM4's then wait to see if things cool down like they have and keep producing accessory. O well hope thing pick up for them.

That is a damn shame, but like the man said...it is the same with a lot of really good companies right now that are struggling to keep the lights on and employees in their jobs.
I hope they pull through. DD is a good company in all respects!!!

i know a number of very very skilled builders and tradesmen that are out of work, personally bankrupt, and business is bankrupt.
one had a super nice showroom, nice 600k house, same with his partner his partner had a new vette and a 200k boat, times were good from about 97-2002/2003 in michigan.
we have been in a depression in michigan for years.
all the jobs dried up. All the personal loans and property was put up for loans, in hopes some day the economy would rebound.
one guy works for $15 a hour now for someone else.
and he wasnt a bad businessman, nor did he overspend personally. Its just that there were no jobs for years.
its brutal out there.
lots of big companies are just sustaining market share, just paying the bills, keeping the employees they trained etc in hopes that the when/if the economy rebound many companies hope to chug along and start making money like the good days.
lots of good folks had the entire world drop out from underneath them, and decades of work get burned up in a few years.
it wasnt supposed to be this way.

i wanted to add i really like mr daniels and his story, same with mr larue.
both were just hobbiests with high standards and some spare time, and parlayed their expertise into a second business.
i hope he pulls through.

Sad but I heard one of the top chicken supplier companies went into chapter11 recently. It is getting bad every where except banking and maybe healthcare next.

Sad indeed, I really like their products. I feel their pain, I'm an out of work carpenter since mid April... no end in sight...
I hope DD can pull through this.
