I want to order something soon, i have waited to long. See no hope LMT's will ever be available for me at a decent price outfited the way i want at anywhere near the price of the DD m4.
From what I've read of people who own them (of which there aren't a lot, which is why you don't hear a lot about them yet) they have spoken nothing of good things.

I'm sure I'll be one of those people speaking praise of it once I get mine. I was going to wait for a Stag Model 2T... I just couldn't wait any longer.

ohh i am sure its good, just trying to rationalize giving up on the LMT.

DD makes good stuff, i know its a good gun, the nerd in me needs to see it is the equal of the LMT in terms of being mil spec and i am not forgoing anything.

Everything I have read on them points as such.
Rob is waiting for one to evaluate ( or has it already) and will be adding the DDM4 to "the chart".

Experience with DD M4 - M4Carbine.net Forums
Great thread on thread on M4Carbine with pics of Larry Vickers putting one thru the paces at a Vickers Tactical 3 day class.

If I wasn't up to my eyeballs in M4s already, I would be buying one of these

great......now I'm thinking of selling one of mine to buy a DDM4

Okay I went to the range and had some fun.----------------Fixed Videos

Here is the DD M4 with the Geissele SSA trigger.

DD M4 :: Rangetime001.flv video by VLR4 - Photobucket

My STag with the Geissele Hi Speed trigger set to DMR.

DD M4 :: Rangetime002.flv video by VLR4 - Photobucket

Trying to get on target as fast as I could at 100 yards

DD M4 :: Rangetime007.flv video by VLR4 - Photobucket

Doing the same with the STAG 2T

DD M4 :: Rangetime008.flv video by VLR4 - Photobucket

And the range. If you look real close you can see my targets at 100 yards.

At the end it looks to me that the Giessele Hi speed trigger was ment for marksmans shooting and the Giessele SSA is a true Combat trigger. I love these things.

Makes you a better shooter. In my case, helps with sloppy trigger pull.

Hey VR, when you purchased your MS2 did you also purchase the ASAP (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) or did you not need it?

I really like that sling and I'm thinking about getting it, but just trying to figure out what other pieces to use. So I need to get two Sling Swivels and the Sling, but am I missing anything else? Just wondering if I needed the ASAP with the sling also.

Thanks.

No I didnt by the ASAP. No need for me. I think the DD setup works fine IMO. Try it out and if you dont like it then buy the ASAP. It's all personal
preference.
