I have a plain jane AR I would like to get a sling for. Do you think the hooks on this Magpul sling would fit the standard sling mounts like pictured below?

Yes it would fit but I don't think it would be long enough for a 20" rifle using the standard sling mounts.
Why not get a correct size 2pt. sling for a rifle setup instead of one that is designed for a shorter carbine as primarily a single point sling and as a 2 point in a pinch?

I was using the 20" pic as a reference, its actually for a midlength
