Aimpoint vs. ACOG vs. EoTech
Hello;
Looking at gun sights for my M4. I have looked at all of these sights and would like some feedback. I liked the Aimpoint compml3, the EoTech reticle seemed to fuzzy for me personally. I loved the ACOG with the Docter sight mounted on top but the $$$$$$$ was out of sight. So I am leaning towards the Aimpoint. Would like to know is they are sturdy. and can I expect to hit the target with the 2moa out to 200 yards.
Thanks.

Personally, I am a big fan of the Aimpoint, the battery life is outstanding. I shot the BIL's AR with an Aimpoint and was very impressed.

Amazingly enough on the aimpoint M4 the battery life is longer than the shelf life of the battery

If you do your part any of the Aimpoints will do fine out to 200 yard most of your differences will be battery live and NV setting
When your ready to buy drop me a pm and worst case I will save you the shipping

Only 200m? Do your iron sights quit working at that range too?
If you can see it, you can hit it. Know the ballistics of your rifle/round and hold over the appropriate amount.

ACOG's are the cat's pajamas. They do have limitations for "CQB" and take some getting used to.
EOTechs are somewhat love it or hate it for most folks.
Aimpoints are good all around.
All three are rock-solid and dependable. EO's used to not be all that dependable but the newest revisions are fine.
There are many things I don't like about the EOTechs: battery life, previous revisions problems with electronics, no memory for previous settings, auto-shut off, buttons placed on the back (recently moved to the side in newest models... still a crappy design. Why won't they just put a dial on the side? Those buttons are not very positive feeling and next to impossible to use with gloves). The "blurry" stuff hasn't really bothered me that much w/ the eo's but it is noticeable.
A lot of people seem to REALLY like the Aimpoint T1. They're expensive but they are small, light, and perform well from what I have read.

No sir but the 200 yards was what the OP stated his needs were I'm sure you could set POI to 500 yards and still it your target if the shooter does his part however the 2moa dot will be covering 10" of the target
