Question Where to Find Extra Power Buffer Spring?

So I have decided that I am going to upgrade my carbine to a H2 buffer and extra power buffer spring now that I have the gun sufficiently broken in (~600 rounds). I have found H2 buffers several places, but the buffer springs are proving to be more difficult to find.

I have seen them on Brownells but none of the other sites that I have checked seem to have any. I have looked at Bravo, PKfirearms, Operation Parts, Jtac, MSTN, and several other places with no luck. Does anyone have another source to get extra power buffer springs?

thanks,
nateroach

If you look through the website under AR-15/CAR-15, you'll find them. You want Part # 16501.

Just curious, why do you need an extra power buffer spring? Your going with a heavy spring AND an H2 buffer. Arent you afraid of short stroking? I run a H2 buffer with a standard buffer spring.

I have a Wolff extra power spring and H2 buffer, anything other then 5.56 will cause short stoking, and even the first 200 rounds of 5.56 failed to lock back the bolt on empty.

Yeah I was gonna say, he had better be shooting NATO rounds if he wants to switch to a H2 buffer AND an extra power spring.

+1!! I missed the H2 buffer AND extra-power spring part and just focused on the spring. Running both, as has been said, will cause you nothing but grief.

So it sounds like I would be better of with one or the other as I don't shoot 5.56 exclusively. Which one would you guys recommend? the H2 buffer or the Extra power buffer spring?

thanks for the input
