If one starts charging one's self for things they do as a form of pleasure then how much does one charge ones self, hourly rate, for.
1. Taking one's own wife to the movies?
2. Spending 3 hours at the range?
Mind this is not how much one will spend but how many hours it will take and how much one expects to be payed hourly for doing it?
I guess it would be cheaper to just pay someone else to do those things for us than to actually HAVE to do them one's self.

I know you are content with range scrounged brass of questionable history and spending even more time in the alchemy of melting free tire weights to get down to $1.70 a box of ammo. I dont have the time for that as do many others. Reality is reloading IS more expensive than it used to be while factory ammo has stayed cheap....

oh this has brought back memories of the epic reloading debate - I feel another headache coming on - 20 years ago reloading was less than ammo, but now we make more, and reloading components have gone up, and fired brass is no good, but cheap stuff from Russia is great. Yesterday's tomorrow is today. Today's yesterday is tomorrow's 20 years ago. How can that be a saving when I make more than I paid back then? Where's my brewskie? Round, round, we go, where we'll stop, nobody knows.

Never gonna happen.
If you want a high cap, polymer, striker-fired 10mm, get a Glock 20.

The 10mm was "too much" for the fbi so they came up with the .40!

1K rds from GA (remanuf) = $300
1K rds handloaded w/ MG bullets = $125 (very high quality FMJ)
Savings of $175, total time in reloading, we'll go slow & say 2hr = $87.50/hr. A pretty good hourly cash rate IMO. One would have to make what, $150/hr gross to come up w/ the $87 net to buy the ammo? Yeah, not worth the time for sure as I know just about everyone in the USA is making that.

My english is pretty good, my typing skills suck though. I knew I should have taken typing in high school, but back then, it was looked upon as kind of gay? Who would have known?

Fred, you forgot to mention that back then typing meant using a typewriter and paper, oh and liquid paper to correct your mistakes.
Anyway this is a gun forum not an spelling and grammar forum.
