Good Buy on Ranger "T" Series.

For the .40 Caliber users one of the larger PD's I'm thinking Atlanta, just traded in 100 cases of less than 1 year old Ranger "T" ammo into there supplier. These are Ranger "T" Series SXT .40 S&W 165 Grain, this is the improved version of the Black Talon. I just bought a case of 500 for $115.00, you can also buy minimum of 2 boxes for $13.00 each. I don't mean to step on any vendors toes who are on the forum but small $s add up to big $s. The company is GT Distributors out of Rossville, GA.

I'm not sure. The brochure that GT Dist sent me said that these were the improved version of the Black Talon and the ammo was less than one year old unopened cases.

I only ask becasue I have recently purchased both
designated ammo mentioned above. Both at reduced
prices, 50 round box for what we used to pay for 20
rounds of the civvie stuff.

I have asked, and no one seems to be able to answer,
has Winchester brought out their new stuff, some type
of new armour clad stuff. If so, that could explain why
the LEO departments are not buying any more of the
'old' . 40 stuff, thus the distributors are dumping it onto
the market, just like the Atlanta PD trading in the 100
cases to the source that they purchase from.

Hello, I say, their loss our gain! Bring it on, there are
many civvies who will scraff it up. Nothing wrong with
one year old ammo, nothing wrong with fifty year ammo
if properly stored.
