Slugs & 00Buck

I found both at Dick's Sporting Goods in Knoxville, TN last week for $1.99 for a box of 5 in 12GA. Picked up some of each. I thought they were a good deal, especially the way things are looking now.

I buy Sellier and Bellot 00 buck in boxes of 25 for $7.95 from this ammo guy who shows up at this particular twice yearly gun show that I go to. Good deal and the 12 pellet S&B patterns nicely at defensive distances from my 870.

I wuz robbed! But I ain't complaining. I'll use what I have if that racoon come walting through the patio door again while I'm smoking a cigarette. (I usually open the door a little to let the smoke out.)

I'll let you know how it patterns; that is if the wife doesn't bend the shotgun barrel over my head for waking her up!

You weren't robbed. I'd say $1.99 to $2.50 is pretty standard for 5 rounds of 00.

I paid 6.99 for a box of #4 Shot and 2.39 a box of 00 Buck. Wally World has Federal Power Shok Rifled Slugs for 2.97 a box, so I grabbed 4 of them too.
