Good deal? Need help.

My wife just won this on ebay and I was wondering if she got a good deal for me since I am just getting into reloading. Is there anything missing? Do I need something else to make my life easier? I have a budget of about 700.00 on equipment so what else do I need now except for a work area and bench.......lol. I want to reload .45acp, .223 rem and 9mm luger.

My wife has a great heart so lets see if she has a keen eye.

Let the comments begin!

Here is the link to the ebay auction.

Dillon RL 550B Reloading Press With Extras - eBay (item 270248889844 end time Jun-29-08 15:55:33 PDT)

Here are the pics he has of it.

Looks like a good deal to me. I didn't see a primer flip tray, can't imagine loading without it.

I watched these listings for the last few months in anticipation of getting a press and you got a good deal.

You got everything you need. Primer flipper is the green square in the top left corner, third picture. Now you just need powder, primers, brass and a good load manual. If it's your first press, go slow and no distractions till you get the hang of it. Their is a lot going on at the same time with a progressive loader. Use a load manual like its a bible. Most guys do post safe loads on line but use the manual first and check it against theirs to stay safe. Hand loading usually becomes a life long endeavor, welcome to the club.

I guess you'll need a .45 conversion kit, and dies, plus a good set of calipers also. A couple of good reloading books will be a big help too.

I had a couple of local friends that helped me get started and I bought my RL550 B locally. They were, and are still, a big help. The salesman even came over when I ran into a little problem.
