Pink Bullets
Hey guys, I saw someone at the range yesterday shooting bullets that when they hit the target made pick holes around the shots!

Any idea what these were?

He was using targets that he just bought at the range, they were not reactive targets but reactive bullets.

I have never seen these before, but they sure were cool!

are you sure it wasn't a shoot-n-c type of target ?

Nope. I saw him buy his targets at the counter, take it into the range (indoor) and blast away. These were full sized targets (about 3ft x 2ft) -- that would be a damn expensive shoot-n-c!

I really wanted to ask him, but didn't.

Also, does shoot-n-c even make a pink reactive target?

Yeah, stupid me for not asking

And what kind of lube would be pink? That would take a hell of a lot of Gun Butter!

Dunno......If he was shooting PINK bullets, I'd stay as far away as I could.

I have used red bullet lube on cast bullets the leave that pink ring on the target. It's smears onto the target paper, that's why it looks pink. Most indoor ranges don't allow cast bullets because of the lead dust that is unhealthy and clogs filters.
