Case Drying after Ultrasonic Clean
I bought a Harbor Freight "Food Dehydrator" last week for $25 on sale (normal price $35) and used it to dry out the cases after ultrasonic cleaning. Prior to that I noticed some of the cases had some moisture in the case neck as some powder kind of stuck to it during reload. Not all of the cases but perhaps 1 in 20.
So, I picked up the Food Dehydrator just for this and it looks like it works pretty well. About 15-30 minutes and you should have perfectly dry cases ready for reload after cooling down from the approximate 160F temperature the dehydrator brings them to. As I understand it, so long as the temp is kept below about 400F there's no chance the hardness/temper will be effected. The unit I got should be able to dry a minimum of several hundred medium to large rifle cases and perhaps as many as a thousand pistol cases at a time Brian |

Oh it's definitely HOT here in Phoenix but that's part of the reason I moved here. I was born and raised in a beach town in California. I then moved here in '89' to escape the rising cost of living and the impending wussification of what is now known as Komifornia. We don't have earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and blizzards. It just gets hot and I like it that way.
