I have a Frankford Arsenal and it does the job more than acceptable. I posted an ad on craigslist looking for one and got it there. I got the tumbler, a thing of brasso, and 1,000 .45 brass cases for $40. The tumbler was brand new in the box.
Look around before ordering

I agree Frankford Arsenal is the way to go. I love mine. Buy the kit so you get the seperator with it as well it is money well spent.

Sure you could buy a separator... or your just could just use a easy DIY sifting tray & brown grocery bag. Works wonders & doesn't require much storage space. You don't even have to worry about washing it from lead, just toss the bag after a few uses.

Harbor Frieght has one for $49, the everyday price. It is not the cheapest, but it is way better quality than a Frankford Arsenal or RCBS.
My 2 tumblers, an RCBS and a HF, are both quiet that barely make a whisper, but when you load them up with a lot of brass, is when they get a little bit loud. The noise is no fault of the tumbler, it is because the brass is banging against each other. |

I bought a 5lb tumbler from Harbor Frieght when it was on sale for 39.99 and bought walnut shell media at the pet store for $7. Works great! This was at a local store.
