WWB 115 Grain FMJ 9mm VERY INACCURATE!

Horrible in my XD-9 SC. At 7 yards, groups were huge and tended to be way right for some reason.

Gun (and me) shooting fine with other ammo.

I shoot it all the time and shoot very well with it. Could just be your 9 doesn't like it.

How many WWB rounds did you put down range? Were they grouped together or spread out? Which ammo gives you the best results?

I agree with TMP it could be the firearm but...... to really know if it is the firearm or human factor you need to fire off a ransom rest or supported like sand bag.

My wife and I shoot tons of 9mm WWB through my CZ PO-1, our Kahr P9 Covert and her S&W M&P 9 Compact. I also shoot a lot of .40 S&W WWB through my XD-40 Service and XD-40 Subcompact. I have never had issues with accuracy. I was shooting bowling pins at 15 yards with my Kahr about a week ago and took down 5 pins with 6 shots.

I failed to mention that this was in the 100 round value packs (got them from Natchez).

I previously have used WWB in the 50 round boxes and honestly don't remember it shooting nearly as badly.

Very strange indeed!

I have had good luck with just about all other ammo but my XD's tend to really love black hills 124 grain +P ammo.

I'll be honest with you it was probably the operator. My experience has been after about 2 hours or 150 - 200 rnds of shooting I start to get sloppy. You do about 50 draws, reloads, drills and shooting it wears on you. I notice it especially when I shoot the XDs. I can tell when it's time to clear and holster and go for a bio break or soda, when I start walking rounds left of center.

Next time out make WWB your first box of ammo and see if you are on target while you are fresh and your mind is engaged.

Not to sound condescending, but what are "huge" groups, 2", 3"? What is "shooting fine"? WWWB has never been known for accuracy, then again, I don't test accuracy @ 7yds. Just about anything will shoot into no worse than 2" @ 7yds from a good pistol.

WWB is always nice to me. 50 or 100 pack makes no difference. Is this the first time you have had problems with this gun and WWB?

I shoot it all the time in my XD9SC, and other XDs, and have no accuracy problems with WWB. I went through 1,000 rounds last week alone.

The old standby, have someone else you know who shoots well to try it. If it does the same for him, drift the sights. My XD-9 Service is the Energizer Bunny...it keeps going...
