Alternative to WWB

I know it's cheap, easy to get and all, but I am tired of the mess it leaves. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good FMJ alternative for target shooting?

CCI Blazer, Blazer Brass, Magtech, Sellier and Bellot, Fiocchi...there's a ton out there.

Personally I'd rather save some money and spend and extra 5 minutes cleaning the gun.

I never understood the complaint about dirty ammo. You still do the same routine when you clean it.

I actually think WWB is the cleanest practice ammo I have used. But then again I have only compared it with Remington, alum Blazer and Blazer Brass.

If you are shopping Wal-Mart pickup the Remington.

Reloading can be much cleaner and less expensive than WWB or any other "practice ammo".

I really don't know why I keep posting things like this, it will just drive the costs up for me and the other reloaders, and more people will be picking up their brass so that I can't scavenge it for my own use. Besides, the wise don't need advise, and the ignorant won't use it.

Only other ammo I target shoot with besides WWB is Magtech. It is quite a bit cleaner then WWB. You might also consider Winchester Win Clean I've shot that before. I guess it's second nature for a lot of us who served in the military to keep weapons cleaned and maintained.

WWB isn't that dirty to make me consider the switching cost to shoot cleaner ammo for same or slightly better performance, not for target ammo anyway.

I generally stick with WWB or Remington UMC. I've had noticeably worse results with Magtech and Blazer Brass with my guns.

My XDs love WWB, Blazer Brass and Fiocchi.
