Winchester (white box) Ammo

I shot about 75 rounds of the WWB 45acp ammo in my XD 45c yesterday, and it was the hardest kicking practice ammo i've ever shot in a 45. It felt like +P's. I had shot a few Rem. Golden sabers, (non +P) and muzzle flip wasen't near as bad with them.
I've never picked up 45 brass that was this hot after fireing. I would do this after every 10 rnd. mag was fired. Accuracy wasen't as good as other ammo i've tried so far either.

Anybody else out there experiencing this with the Winchester ammo?
The ammo was bought at Wall Mart, FWIW.

Hi IMR
I shoot mostly White Box but in 40S&W. It does seem to have some more recoil compared to the Fiocchi ammo I shoot.
Also, every once in a while I'll have WWB round that seems appreciably more snappy than the previous round. It cycles well- no stoppages.

I have no problem WWB. While it could be cleaner, you can't beat the price.

Yea, that is another thing i forgot to mention. My cases were dirtier than any of the other rounds have been, and my pistol needed a through cleaning, (which it got) after shooting.

I agree, you can't beat the price of that stuff.

I have shot thousands of WWB in 9mm out of my XD tactical and and have never had a single jam. I had a couple extraction failures when I first got the XD but that was with steel cased ammo and it was before the gun had much more than 200 rounds through it. So...no...no need for concern with WWB IMO.

almost a thousand WWB through my XD40(sold), almost a thousand through my XD9sub, and about 300 through my XD9service and not ONE jam in any of them. my 40 jammed a couple times on some reloads i got from a range when i 1st bought the gun; but none ever since... WWB is dirty as can be but for the price and performance it cant be beat when it comes to practice ammo.

WWB is dirty, but I've never noticed the recoil as being appreciably stronger than other brands. I shoot so much of it that I'm probably used to it by now.
