Where do you buy Ammo?

I'm wondering where everyone buys their ammunition.

Are there places online that beat the prices of local guys?

Is there anywhere in Portland/Metro that carries ammunition at lower prices than Bi-Mart, or carries a wider selection at similar prices?

IMO, yes, Walmart is cheaper...you do end up paying about an extra $6 after tax is involved with WWB...however you don't have to deal with your gun blowing up, your extractor cracking, and you get good brass for reloading.

In the end I think it's a better choice for most people. I mean, for $6 I'll take the stuff that doesn't have a record of blowing up peoples' guns. The only way I'd buy wolf is if it was half price of WWB.

i guess your right, i wouldnt mind paying the 6 extra bucks. then i wouldnt have to wait on the ammo either.

but on the plus side, at least Wolf will replace the gun!! ive shot thousands of rounds of this stuff with no problems. but the consensus seems to be the stuff is no good.

I like Sportsman's Warehouse. They have a pretty good selection and decent prices. Maybe a bit higher than Bi-Mart, but they have a much better selection of hunting and personal defense ammo. If you're just looking for plinking, I think Wal-Mart or Bi-Mart are cheapest.

I buy my practice .45acp at Wal Mart (Blazer Brass) but I buy my self defense Federal Tactical HST .45acp ammo and my 5.56mm self defense and SHTF ammo at Welcome to Ammunition To Go!
