I just bought a 1000 rds. of Prvi Partizan M193 55gr. FMJ from Wideners for $330/1000. (With shipping, the total was $349). Since I did relatively minimal price-shopping, did I get a decent deal or bent over?

That sounds decent. Georgia Arms canned heat ammo is right about that price. I don't think you got reamed at all.

Sounds about right. I just got 1000/rds of PMC 55gr FMJ-BT to my door for $340 shipped, I would rate these both about the same quality in my experience.

35 cents shipped to your door for brass M193 ammo is a pretty good deal these days. Even my plinking ammo with mil 55gr projectiles is costing me about 19 cents a round and this is without the brass.

The Prvi M193 is good stuff. Chrono's very good, very consistent with a low standard deviation, and decent groups. The brass is also good, I have to say the brass is just as good as Lake City.

I bought 2000 rounds of the same stuff from wideners, shoots good. I had PMC bronze before. I bought the 2000 because prvi is increasing 10-15% when wideners depletes his current stock. I've been keeping the brass too since thats too expensive to just leave at teh range

I bought the same stuff earlier. I split it with a co-worker. I've shot a 100 of it so far and never had a problem. I was thinking about getting a few more "battle packs".

Side note: That term cracks me up. Battle pack. I bet the Koolaid drinkers really eat that up.

buy it up before they increase the price, wideners shows you how much they have in stock. It will easily increase to $360-370 per 1000 instead of the current $330 per 1000.
