LE GoldDots vs. GoldDots

What's the difference between the GoldDots in the 20 rd. box and the GoldDots in the 50 rd. box marked Law Enforcement, other than price?

I just bought 300 rds. and went with the 50rd LE GoldDots because they worked out to be cheaper and I wanna know why there's a price difference; are they not the same bullet?

In 45, the 50 round box is +P, I think the 9mm is +P+, no clue if the 40 is outside the SAAMI specs

I should have mentioned previously that I bought two types, the 200gr +p and the 230gr.
I noticed that the commercial (I guess that's what I'll call them) 20/box had the same options. They're the same in every way, as far as I can tell, except for the box; but the price is different. I was just curious as to why.

I assume it's packaged and priced for LE but Welcome to Ammunition To Go! got it and is selling to the public.
I guess life will go on if I don't find out for sure.

I'm still trying to come up with ways to test it at the range. Basically anything goes since I work there and I'll ultimately be the one who's gotta clean it up.

I have a couple of the 50 round 45acp LE stuff, and one of the 20 round boxes.
Take them out of the box and both are the EXACT SAME! As far as looks. None are marked +p. they are all marked the same and are all look the same.
And I cant tell any differance in shooting one or the other.

I think its more or less just put it in differant boxes at the factory and sale it to the PD for cheaper a round than to the public. Nothing more nothing less.

Visually theres no differance.
And as far as it shoots I cant tell anything diffeant

LE buys HP ammo like that in larger quantites and get discounts compared to us mere civies. Some companies like Ammo to go get that deal also and pass the savings on to us. The 50 round boxes are the only ones I buy now.

It's marketing. Civilians are advertized to. If all they offer you is 20 bucks for 20 rounds it must be some super duper zombie killing ammo.

Same ammo. Don't fall for it. We have been getting screwed for years by ammo companies. I remember when Wally World carried 50 count boxes of Hydroshock's. Heck I remember that most HP ammo came in 50 count boxes. The ammo companies started playing games about 10 years ago.
