If I wanted to just get a few bullets (20-50) to test accuracy of various designs and then develop a load to fine tune the choice ... Does anyone offer small quantity ordering. It seems like everyone want to sell in 250-500 minimum quantity increments.

What I mean is,
Do manufacturers offer a sample of all their designs for a given caliber ??
I can't seem to locate any that do this type of sample ordering.

20-50 usually isn't enough.

Even sometimes 100 is not enough.

AZXD, try Midway USA. They have some orders you can place in the range of quantity you looking for.

call and ask the supplier sometimes they will send some out for free or very cheap.

The smallest quanity I've been able to find in SD type bullets is 100 at a time. That's how I order mine for handloads becuase I don't shoot very many of them. I try to have 100 handloaded SD type rounds of ammo at any one time just to have on hand for occasional reliability tests.

I know missouri bullet has boxes of 100 for 6-8 bucks a box but they have to accompany a standard order.

You might get a buddy, or three, to pitch in on an order. If you don't agree on the weight of bullet, you could maybe convince them to try out your choice and trade a few with them. Consolidate your order and get them at a, somewhat, reduced price. I have a couple of buds that share an order, we purchase up to 4000 at a time, save 10-20%.
