BrianEnos or not
I will likely exercise the CC next week to purchase a RL550B but there are several places to get them. One place, BrianEnos, has a somewhat more straight forward method of selecting the equipment and options but I'd kind of like to know what other think of them.
FWIW, I'll be getting it equiped for loading the 357 sig and adding 223 options (conversion kit, toolhead/stand, carbide dies, case gages, etc) as well. Looks like it will run upwards of $1000 before all is said and done. I also need to find a good source of case trimmers for the 357 sig and 223. Brian |

I have had really good business with Brian. His prices are about the same as Dillon but his shipping is cheaper (at least for my location). If you call him, he can help you out on what you need now and what you can add later.

I highly recommend Brian since that's who I bought my 650 w/case feeder from. I did alot of research into what I wanted and needed to get, so I was pretty sure I had everything. The good thing about Brian is he will look over your order and check it for anything you will need but might have missed. You can even call him and tell him what you want (meaning the press) and what you will be reloading and he will put the order together for you.
I know you are going for the 550 and this is the one Brian recommends. Even when someone wants the more expensive 650, Brian will try to suggest the 550, although he will sell the 650 to them if they are determined. In my case, he didn't even try to persuade me to get the 550 since he could see from my order that I knew what I wanted. Again, go with Brian and don't look back! (just my $0.02 though

Brian Enos is great to deal with. If you order $400+ Dillon stuff from him shipping is FREE! That's how he got my 550 order. My suggestion is go with him and get everything you think you'll need with your first order to take advantage of this. I have also dealt with him for warranty work and special order stuff (like powder funnels, locator buttons, etc.)--service was excellent. If you set up for multiple calibers, he'll help you avoid extra caliber conversions that result in duplicate parts.

It's pretty simple to qualify for a dealer's account with Graf's. Their Dillon prices are the best that I've seen. I'd forget about buying Dillon dies and go with Lee...u don't need carbide in .223 or .357 Sig.

What's wrong with supporting your local dun shop? If they get it for you, and possibly help set it up, then you'll become known as a customer that is true to your locals and deserve extra attention on any future purchases.
I've become adamant about dealing local and have found many rewards in it as a result.

I work with people that he really helped out, as far as finding out what they "Really" needed. And won't try to sell you more stuff you don't want. I'd just call him, he can help.

There is no local gun shop anywhere near me. There isn't a good gun shop within 100 miles of me that carries reloading equipment.
I've never found anything enlightening at a gun shop, anywho. |
