Thunderbolt is no good for me...I have a Walther P22 and it's VERY picky about ammo. So far the mini mags are the only cartridge to feed and extract 100%. Even the Federal Game-Shok high velocity have occasional problems.

At 500 to 1000, you won't be able to find much of a discount. Even Cabela's "bulk" ammo is more expensive per round than WWB at Wal-Mart. The best way to get a bulk discount right now would be to go to every Wal-Mart in the area and buy up every box of WWB they have. Then when the prices jump again June 1st, it will seem like you just got a big discount.

OR... you could put that money as an investment in a Dillon and just start making your own ammo at half the cost. That's what I did.

I was just at Cabelas...and you could buy single 50 round boxes for less per round then the 250 round case. $12/50, or $75/250...these were magtech 9mm FMJ. They didn't even carry the 100 round WWB.

WalMart has the best prices for 100rd Party Packs of Winchester FMJ.

9mm...$18.42/100
.45ACP...$28.??/100

I've got over 1200 rds of .45, 500rds of 9mm & adding more.
