Just wondering what you guys are paying for .223 at walmart or were ever. I got 20 rounds of remington umc 55 gr for a little over 8$ at the local walmart.

$8.53 at my Wal-Mart. So $9.23 after tax.
I just split a 1000 round order with an officemate. It cost me $175 for 500 rounds. So it was like $7.00 a box, shipped. Ordered 2000 rounds of Prvi Partizan

Don't have a WalMart but I get 20rnds wolf .223 locally for 5.99.

The cheapest way to buy .223 is to buy in bulk from somewhere like Ammunition to Go

If you get the 1000 round pack at Ammotogo of UMC it works out to be the same price. Plus you dont have to spend your gas going to and from wally world multiple times (mine never had more than 10 boxes of UMC 223 so thats alot of trips to get 1000 rounds)
