I don't get too crazy about JHPs. My XD shoots whatever is affordable.

I currently carry Cor-Bon 230 grain in mine, works fine and feeds great, it is a real pain to shoot one handed though with the +P factor.

I have used gold dots in my other pistols never had a problem I was just looking for suggestions for the springfield thank you all

Of course. I'm just saying that I don't get too wrapped up in which is the 'best' JHP. One is as good as the other to me.

Just about anything will shoot fine in your XD but everyone has there own opinion about which hp is the best. Here are a few of the more popular ones.

oh oh oh sorry have to add one more... 185 gr winchester silvertips my 1911 loved them i dont have an xd .45 but i shoot the 147 gr silvertips out of my xd-9 service and they shoot great as well awsome expansion too..but just like the other guys said it is a matter of opinion so as you get the chance try them out yourself...starting with the silvertips! heh
