XDs and molycoated bullets

Any bad experiences with molycoated bullets through the XD (I've got the XD9 Tac)? A Glocker friend of mine and I have been reloading with plated bullets, but we're out and have about 4000 moly's left (Precision, 147gr, .356 dia, flat point). He says they gunk up his barrel. I'd like to use these up during upcoming IDPA matches, but just thought I'd check for other opinions/experiences out there. Thanks in advance.

Had very good luck with moly coated bullets from both Bear Creek and Precision. Been using the 147gr 9mm's from both companies for a while now.

You would be good with lead bullets in the XD. They XDs do not use the polygonal (SP?) rifling the Glocks do.

Hell I've fired lead though Glocks. I just clean it everytime I shoot them which I do even with jacketed or plated bullets also.
