At Bass Pro shop in Ft. Lauderdale they are selling WSP and WLP for $39.95 per thousand. And that is not a mis-print! I think the Rem 7 1/2 were the same but I was so flabbergasted I don't really remember.

I now buy in bulk from Powder Valley. think I just paid something like 107/5000 for WSP and WLP. Also got a case of Rem 7 1/2 so I got 15,000 at once. Think with shipping and hazmat that was about $24.50 per 1000 average as the Rems were a little bit more.

By the way, Powder Valley will ship both primers and powder under one hazmat fee of $20.

Yeah now that I think about it, it's probably worth it to just buy in bulk online. I just need to try to avoid spending too much at one time since I don't graduate from college until December. God made credit cards for a reason...

Monday, 5/05/08 I paid $127.95 for a case of 5,000 of small pistol, Federals at my local gun shop. I know that is about $26.00 @ thousand, and may be a little high, but I believe in shopping local and at independent shops, when possible. The difference will come back in the community that I live.

i bought 5k Wolf SP and 5k Wolf SR for $160 i think.. might have been $170. I now get all my powder and primers from a guy in Louisiana. He has killer deals and is a super nice guy, i drive down to his place to pick up my stuff, unless he comes to a Match in Jackson i just meet him up there.

PM me if anybody wants his info..
I dont know if he still has primers for that price, but its not over 100 per 5k..
He will ship supplies also.

35.63 after tax for 1k Federal Gold Small Pistol (0.03563 ea)
30.23 after tax for 1k Winchester Small Pistol (0.03023 ea)
Both from Sportsmans Warehouse

I think the cheapest I have found was at Midway. I think I could get 5k of the Federal Small Pistol for like 137.99 shipped (0.02764 ea)

Midway will be my next source

This place looks to be great on prices.. How is their service and how is shipping usually? Im all for keeping my money local, but I can save over 150 dollars on the order I just place at my local store had I known about this place..

These are great people to deal with. Service is excellent and shipping fast. Like I mentioned, they will combine powder and primer in the same shipment for only one hazmat charge. I have now ordered some large amounts i would say 4 times over the last 5 months. Never a problem. Just good folks.
