Small nick/ding on Brass

Just noticed that all my .40 brass have a small nick on each case. My guess its from the ejector. They are being fired from the Service model.

Do these nicks effect how many times I can reload the case.

By the way...how many times can I reuse them? Read a while back that since the .40 is a high pressure round that it cant be relaoded as much as lets say a .45 or 9mm round. is that right?

Reload them until the necks crack. The ejector can be softened up to minimize marking the cases but you have to be careful, expecially if it is a carry gun.
