Small nick/ding on Brass
Just noticed that all my .40 brass have a small nick on each case. My guess its from the ejector. They are being fired from the Service model.
Do these nicks effect how many times I can reload the case. By the way...how many times can I reuse them? Read a while back that since the .40 is a high pressure round that it cant be relaoded as much as lets say a .45 or 9mm round. is that right? |

Reload them until the necks crack. The ejector can be softened up to minimize marking the cases but you have to be careful, expecially if it is a carry gun.

Hopefully the ding wont make the cases crack prematurely
