Go to your local range and pay to shoot. Check out who is shooting what you are or what you want and go ask them for their brass. Now, if the local range owner doesn't shoot you then you can get all you want for free. I find municipal ranges don't mind too much if you don't get too greedy. Probably now most ranges sell the brass as it is quite valuable. Make nice to the RO's and your shooting neighbors and you may get lucky-and shoot too.

If you belong to a private club then maybe you can pick some up there from those who don't reload. Always ask first-reloaders are a possesive group.

I found a local guy who has contracts with most of the ranges around here he used to sell on e-bay until they banned brass and bullets. I asked him if he wanted me to post his e-mail on this site and he said sure. He also gave me his current price list if you need prices on anything I don't post let me know. And he ships it in flat rate boxes from the P.O.

He has a full line of rifle and pistol I will list the prices of the more popular calibers. It comes cleaned and polished.

9mm 1K-$25
40S&W 1K-$30
45 1K-$50

223 1K of Lake City $60 or $70 for 1 headstamp of Rem,Fed,or PMC
7.62 x 39 per 100 $17
308 per 100 $15

His name is Mark
