woo hoo, my dillon 550 is on the way!
well i found too good of a deal on another forum to pass up
its used but with dillon warranty who cares its comin with the press, 45 conversion kit, 45 dies, dillon scale, strongmount, 2 large primer fill tubes and 2 small primer fill tubes all for $400 bought some powder today, so hopefully by sometime next week ill be shooting my first handgun reloads |

I'll probably be ordering in a couple weeks. I'll start with the 550 and the dies and coversion kits for 223 and 357 sig.
It will be nice to be able to build good quality ammo and still be able to shoot a lot of it. If you only intend to shoot the cheapest stuff it probably doesn't make sense to reload as it isn't much cheaper to reload cheap as buy cheap. I'm a bit anal about things and since my AR is nearly a comp rifle it never made sense to feed it with crap. I wouldn't call my XD a comp quality weapon but given as I'm anal I tend to go with better than cheap. I think this is going to be fun... Brian |

the rifle rounds is where you make your money back on the reloading setup the quickest, big savings. Depending on the pistol caliber, certain calibers help pay off the setup quicker.
