What is Double Tap Ammunition???
well I tried to search for my answer first, but I have had little results. So I figured I would start a thread and see if anyone could answer.
What is Double Tap ammo? I have heard people say they use it, but what is the difference between it and regular ammo. I visited their website and it just looks like its a re-loaded ammo that costs the same as manufactured ammo. Whats the deal? Do they use a special powder? Use more powder then factory ammo, giving ammo higher velocity? Anyone have an idea? CB |

It's probably loaded to "higher than normal" pressures, too.

Twice as good as the single tap ammo.

I avoid DT ammo because of concerns about frame battering and overpressure. I dunno how good their quality control can compare with say, Winchester or Remington...
ps - if you do decide to run that stuff, make sure you're using a gun with a fully-supported chamber and heavier than standard springs
