Hot Ammo?
Is there anything I should be concerned about leaving a loaded gun or ammunition in the glove box/trunk during the day? Specifically, I'm asking about heat... I know ammunition can ignite if it gets hot enough, so is this an actual concern in the 110+ degree heat we get around here, or not?

I live in ATL where it gets close to as hot as Houston. I have a loaded gun in the car, if it's not on me, at all times and have never had any issues.

internal temperatures of a car in summer usually reach 140-150 degrees, that is if you dont crack the windows or use a windshield screen. Nothing will blow up unless your car is on fire but if you want peace of mind, crack the windows and use a windshield screen, that will help out your cars interior also and your rear when you sit down
