I load a lot of .223 rounds. For up to 300 yards, the only weighing I do is the powder charge. For 600 and further, I most times will weigh the bullet heads and the cases also. Of course the cases have to be the same headstamp. You would be surprised how many bullets out of a box of 500 are either light or heavy, at least for long range! I shoot these for 200 yard practice. No need to weigh the loaded rounds unless you think there may be light loads and want to be sure you don't shoot them in a big match.
