The thing some people don't know is that if you go 5.56 you can also shoot .223. But you can't shoot 5.56 with a .223 chamber.

I usually look at Ammunition to Go and buyammo.com. You may want to look/buy Shotgun News, they have advertisement for a ammo company called Gulf Coast Ammo. Their website doesn't have information, but you can call them and they'll give you the price and total with shipping.

privi partizan is back to $320 down from $335. Charge 17 shipping on this case, but since they are in texas they are adding $23 sales tax for me

Ammunition To Go : 1000rds - 5.56 Prvi Partizan 55gr. M-193 FMJ Ammo - $319.95

Id love to shoot for steel cased wolf prices but I dunno about using that ammo, could be a problem

I'd just stay .223 - For most range plinking or varm. hunting, you'd never tell the difference other than an almost unnoticable increase in recoil for the NATO cal. Plus, it's way more accessible and often times cheaper than 5.56.

If you really want 5.56, you can find it at many places online including ammoman, ammunitiontogo & others...

Well, I'd say the biggest reason folks go for the 5.56 over the .223 is price and availiability IN BULK.

True, .223 can be found more readily and cheaper in small lots of 20 to 500 or so... but, when you start getting up around 2-10K per purchase, you're lucky to find .223, let alone afford it

xd9 replacement parts

I just got my first xd9 and registered here. Thanks for all the helpful info.

I am wondering which replacement parts (springs, etc) I should keep on hand for DIY home repair of the 4" or 3" xd9?
