Ammo prices make me say OUCH!
For a while Dicks have been running "specials" 9mm $9.98 and .45 $14.98. While this was up from the previous $7 and $12 prices I ate it anyways. Well I just checked the circular and oh my. 9mm is $11 and .45 $16. Its offical. I'm only shooting twice per year.

hehehehe, Dominican Republic, as a third world country and having Haiti as neighbor, our government had to ban Weapons importation as from the border EVERYTHING was coming. not to make a long tale. My XD 9 was costing 2000 USD equivalent and every ammo box (50 rounds red dot Eagle) is costing 50 USD bucks. the 20 rounds expansibles (as we call them here) is 100 USD when you find it.

Going to the range is a little cheaper. if member, you pay 200 USD bucks yearly and everytime you go 50 USD is gonna be a ammo box (cooper one second hand). if not a member, the box is 30 USD including the range fee.

Don't never ever dare to cry for ammo prices in my face, LOL!!!

You need to buy more while it is this cheap. MFG increase starts in a few weeks. You should start seeing higher prices on the shelves by mid to late June.

look into reloading, my ammo only cost about $8/100 for 9mm and 40.

That was a long time ago, January 4th. As ammo dries up we are seeing the price increases hit faster.

As an example most consumers did not see the Feb 7th 2007 price increase until late last summer. Many people thought it was the Sept 1st increase hitting early. Contrast it with the January 4th increase that started showing up in the stores as early as mid Feb.

what is the remington ammo MC? I know what FMJ and HP and JHP's are but I saw at cabela's the other day 100 rds of 9mm luger MC for $13.99

EDIT:

Ok so I'm pretty sure it's just "Metal Case" sorry... Was confusing for a little bit there and it was so cheap I was leary of it. oh well now I'll have to pick some up.

I agree with this guy,

I can't imagine how much the S&W 40 will be if they have to start putting serial number on the ----ing casing. Buy up now. Cause even if you can afford it, chances are they wont have it. Get on a registration list for bullets?
