.357 Sig handloading questions

I am thinking about buying a .357 Sig and would like to hand load for it in a progressive press.

I have never reloaded a bottle neck pistol cartridge but I am assuming that the cases would need to be lubed for resizing???? Is that correct?

Also, does the cartridge headspace on the shoulder like a bottle neck rifle cartridge or on the case mouth like a straight walled pistol cartridge? I'm asking this so I understand how the case mouth will be "crimped" or closed after the bullet is seated. Will the crimping be done at the bullet seating die or will I need to get a taper crimp die? Will a taper crimp die work with a bottle neck case or will it interfere with the shoulder?

Thanks

I think there is still controvery over the headspace issue for the 357sig. I use Dillon dies & they are the only ones w/ carbide insert, so I do not case lube. You can also use a 40s&w carbide sizer forst, then the 357sig, but I'm not sure how you do this on a 4stage progressive. The Dillon dies have a taper crimp & it seems to work in my handloads. Others use the Lee die sets & don't complain. The Dillon set is very expensive but not having to lube cases is worth it to me.
