3" Barrel 40cal SD ammo
Has anyone chronographed the same 40 cal ammo out of different length barrels to see how much velocity you lose with the 3"? I've read that modern hollow points expand OK even out of short barrels but I see that Speer makes special short barrel ammo which sells for about the same price. Why would they do that if it wasn't necessary? I have the XD40SC and am concerned about self defense rounds for it.
