I bought some of their .38+p for my BUG, but haven't fired that ammo type through any of my autos. I'll be interested to see others' responses...

I've put 750 rounds of UMC thru my xd9 service with no problems at all, but i've read mixed opinions on some other sites. just trying to figure out what my fellow xd brethren have to say about it.

Have shot a few thousand in 9mm with no complaints about function or accuracy. For store bought I mostly shoot WWB. By comparison UMC doesn't seem quite as snappy and a little dirtier than WWB. But that is a casual observation. I have never started with an immaculate gun and shot the same number of rounds with each to check the soot. Nor have I ever chrono-ed both from the same gun. If the price is right go for it. UMC is a Remington product so you expect it to be good.

I've shot a few hundred .40 180 gr. UMC cartridges with the USP and the XD with no problems. It actually seemed a little cleaner than WWB to me.

My dealer sells 100 for $25 so it's cheaper than WWB now, too.

Wrong place to post this. Here's a link to a thread in the ammo box discussing this ammo.
UMC .40 S&W... Good ammo?
