Lead Cast Bullets
I found a site that sells lead cast bullets 1000 .40 180gr for 40.00 shipping included. They give you the option for No Grease, Grease, and Moly/Grease. Which would be considered the best choice? Have any of you shot hardcast lead in you XD?

I use hard casted lead bullets (that I casted myself) exclusively for my XD-9 Tactical.
You need some kind of lube on lead bullets or it will "lead" your barrel. So if you don't intend to size and lube it yourself, I would not buy the "no grease" bullets. You'll have to test the other two to see which is better. A good lube will keep the bore from leading. The bullet hardness should also have a BHN of 15 (Alloy #2). If it's not it will also lead your barrel. I helped XD-40 Mike with his problem on his reloads and problem was the diameter of the bullet. It can not exceed 0.401". If you buy any of these bullets you must check and know the diameter. Final cartridge diameter at the case mouth can not exceed 0.423". If you do exceed it, the cartridge will jam in the chamber without seating fully and will not go into battery. Recommend getting Lyman's "48th Edition Reloading Handbook" if you're into reloading. Aloha! KN

I just checked the sight it says they have a BHN of 19 and their soft cast bullets have a BHN of 12. Been reloading for some time but I have never used lead bullets been using plated or jacketed.
I'll see if I can order the Lyman book online. The site says their .40 are .401 but I'm shure I'll have to check them out when I get them. Thanks.
