9mm XD sub-compact ammo
sorry, I've searched around and cant seem to find an answer to my question.
got a XD sub-compact in 9mm and I am looking for suggestions for SD loads. currently have Rem Golden Saber Bonded +P, 124 gr. Is there a short barrel round that I should buy or is my Rem GS load good? I've put a 10 rd and 16 rd mag through it and no failures or problems, but I just want to see what everyone here thinks. range ammo is of no concern to me but self/home-defense is where I want the best ammo regardless of cost. thanks |

You are good to go. Any good 9mm hollow point round will do well, and your Golden Sabers fill the bill well.

Speer makes a Gold Dot HP in +P 124 Grain especially for short barrels.
That's my recommendation and my preferred carry round in my XD 9 SC.

Agreed Speer Gold Dot Short Barrels are the way to go, my choice.
