Went to buy some 223 Rem and the 20 pack is $8.50, but the 50 pack is $24.50!? It's cheaper by $4 just to buy the 20 packs for the same round count!

i see stuff like this all the time.
like they will have a single pack of widjets for .99 cents and a 3 value pack for $2.99! when you could get three in the single pack 2.97.

or fast food a single burger for .99 and a double for 1.99 so it would be cheaper to get 2 singles and you get the extra bun and fixins

I went to Gander this past weekend for some powder. It was marked 24.99 and it rang up 19.99. I didnt say anything and they didnt notice

It's not just Wally World, it happens everywhere. Alot of people don't work the numbers (my wife included), they just take for granted that bulk=less cost per unit whether it be ounces, pounds, rounds, or whatever. Some times the individual items aren't selling as well as the bulk packs, so they lower the price to move them and it actually may work out cheaper to buy the singles.

On the other side, several years back, I wanted to buy some Roundup weed and grass concentrate at our local feed store. A gallon jug was $110.00 but a 2.5 gallon jug was $127.50!?

When I asked the Owner about this, he said that that was just the way the makers of Roundup did it. Naturally I bought the 2.5 gallon jug.

My favorite is the Lowe's here has CR123 batteries at 6 bucks for one or a two pack for 4.50 I pretty much clean those out everytime I go there...

monster energy drinks have the same thing $2.99 per 16oz, or they have the 16oz 4 packs for $6.99.

Have you considered ordering straight from SureFire?

Roughly $1.75 each before shipping.

Try BatteryJunction for even cheaper batteries, some less than a buck a piece

Go into a gas station and buy a 2 liter Mt. Dew for 99 cents, or buy a 20 ounce for $1.49. Guess the cost of refrigeration is pretty high.

I am careful with the bulk buying too, it can be a scam. I did get some payback at walmart though. I was buying a $37 knife, but it rang up for $2.99. I was also getting a $20 backpack, which also rang up for 2 or 3 dollars. It was late and the cashier just said "F#&k it" and gave them to me for that price.
