Here in North Texas gun show prices for ammo was usually $2-3 more per box of 50 than Walmart or Academy Sports. I never understood it. Maybe the hard to find ammo was priced better.

today at the gun show in Hickory I paid $92.50 for 500 rnds of 9mm and it came in an ammo can.
I also bought 500 rnds of wolf 7.62x39 95.00 4 30rnd steel ak mags...$10.00 each I'm guessing prices are about average, no shipping charges though

I made a thread about gun shows a month or two ago with my predictions on ammo cost and it was dead on and it was before the big ammo increase.

To be honest, I've found very few "deals" on anything at gun shows. I'm not saying you won't find one, but as far as my experiences have gone, they're generally not worth the price of admission.
