I was at a local gun shop this morning and they were having a sale on Starfire ammo, $11.29 for a box of 20 in 45 ACP. I did some research and these seem like good rounds and for $11.29 a box I thought I'd go get some more! Any feedback on this kind of ammo? Thanks.

I did some searching on this brand and didn't find much other than it's made PMC and the same guy who designed the gold dot designed the starfire. I also like the expansion characteristics the ammo shows.

Check this link out. It has some starfire ammo tests.

I don't carry it in any of my weapons, but I have shot it. Functioned flawlessly. Fired some into water filled milk jugs and was pleased with the result.

Federal has a updated version, the HST.
